OUT OF STOCK Description: Cosworth ultra-high performance forged Motocross pistons are developed using the latest technologies and highest quality materials, using fully formed bridged forgings giving optimised shape for minimum weight, increased strength and durability. They are designed to withstand directional change of up to 285 times per second and acceleration forces of 8500g, these pistons are engineered for maximum power resulting in the finest piston available. Features & Benefits: • Motocross Forged from 2618 high tensile strength aluminium • Anti-scuff bands • Anti-detonation bands - Minimises crevice volume reducing the effect of unburned fuel between the piston and the bore • Accumulator groove - Aids compression ring sealing under high cylinder pressures • Horizontal gas ports - aids ring sealing • Xylan skirt coating for anti-friction and also aids bed in • Oil drain holes • Polished crown reduces carbon build up and stress relief, minimising the effect of hot spots causing detination • Smooth blended barrel form and optimised cam profile - reduces engine noise, increases life & performance • Formula One derived skirt profiles allow ultra high RPM • DLC coated ultra strong, lightweight pin Pins, rings and clips included.
